WA Biz Sender (Prime) is a Chrome extension that helps users automate business messaging through WhatsApp Web.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and store it, how it is shared, how long we retain it, and how users can request access to or deletion of their information.

2. Information We Collect

Our extension and backend collect or process information necessary to authenticate users, validate licences, manage subscriptions, and maintain the service.

2.1 Account and login information

We collect or process the account information necessary for users to sign in and access the extension. Depending on the account configuration, this may include:

Passwords, where used, should be stored as secure password hashes rather than plaintext. We do not intentionally expose passwords or authentication tokens to other users.

To activate and manage the extension, our backend may process:

  • Licence validity, activation status and expiry date.
  • Subscription plan and subscription status.
  • Activation and renewal dates.
  • Account-to-licence associations.
  • Subscription or payment status, if applicable.

We do not integrate a third-party payment processor into the extension as part of the data flow described by this policy. Any payment processing performed separately through another service must be disclosed independently where applicable.

2.3 Technical and security information

To maintain service reliability and protect accounts, our backend may process technical information such as:

  • Extension version and compatibility information.
  • API request timestamps and response status.
  • Error messages and diagnostic information.
  • IP addresses or server access logs, where recorded by our infrastructure.
  • Security events, failed login attempts and rate-limit events, where implemented.

2.4 WhatsApp contacts and message content

The extension interacts with WhatsApp Web to perform the messaging actions explicitly requested by the user.

The extension may process recipient phone numbers, contact information, message text, templates and attachments within the browser as required for the selected functionality.

WA Biz Sender's own backend does not intentionally collect or store WhatsApp recipient lists, message text, attachments or WhatsApp conversations. This statement applies to the backend data flow described by our current implementation and must be updated if that implementation changes.

Messages and recipient information submitted through WhatsApp Web are subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's own data practices. WA Biz Sender does not control how those independent services process information.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only for purposes necessary to operate and support WA Biz Sender, including:

  • Authenticating users and maintaining account access.
  • Verifying licence validity and activation.
  • Enabling subscription-dependent features.
  • Detecting invalid or unauthorised licence use.
  • Maintaining the security and reliability of our backend.
  • Troubleshooting errors and compatibility issues.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use account information, licence information or technical logs for unrelated advertising or behavioural profiling.

4.1 Browser-side processing

Information needed for messaging functionality may be processed within the user's browser while the extension interacts with WhatsApp Web.

Depending on the feature, the extension may also save user settings or other information locally in browser storage. The specific information stored locally depends on the extension's implementation.

4.2 Backend storage

Account, authentication-related, licence, subscription and technical information may be transmitted to and stored on our own backend infrastructure to operate the service.

We do not intentionally transmit WhatsApp recipient lists, message content or attachments to our backend as part of the stated data flow.

4.3 Third-party services

We do not use third-party analytics services or third-party payment integrations in the extension's stated backend data flow.

The extension interacts with WhatsApp Web, an independent service operated by WhatsApp/Meta, when users perform messaging actions. Users should review the applicable WhatsApp and Meta privacy policies for information about their processing.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

We do not intentionally share account information, licence information or technical logs with advertising networks or data brokers.

Information may be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • WhatsApp/Meta: Information that users submit through WhatsApp Web is processed by WhatsApp/Meta as part of the messaging service.
  • Legal obligations: Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law or valid legal process.
  • Security and abuse prevention: Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect the service, or safeguard users' rights and security.

  • Locally stored extension data: May remain in the browser until cleared by the user or removed through the relevant extension or browser controls.

We do not claim that deleting the extension automatically deletes account or licence records from our backend.

Users may request deletion of eligible account information by contacting us using the details below. We may retain limited information where required by law or necessary to resolve outstanding security or legal matters. Where deletion is completed, we will handle any remaining backups according to our applicable retention procedures.

8. User Rights and Choices

We do not use third-party analytics cookies or advertising trackers as part of the stated extension data flow. Any additional website technologies introduced in the future will be disclosed where required.

10. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

WA Biz Sender limits its collection, use and transmission of user information to purposes necessary for the extension's disclosed functionality and related operational requirements.
